The boy who hid blue eyes behind bangs that were far too long and spun stories just for me.
Life was perfect back then.
When my only worry in the world was making sure daddy didn’t catch us sharing more than words behind the barn.
He should still be mine.
But they took him. Ripped him from me while simultaneously tearing my heart in two.
Six years later and you’d think I’d have moved on from that blue-eyed boy.
